McGregor Elementary is an exemplary campus that takes great pride in our student success and the dedication of our staff. We are a diverse campus with wonderful students and a loving staff that is here to help each and every child be all they can be. We pride ourselves in all of our achievments and the community service projects we have been involved in.
• presenting music programs, making cards, playing Bingo with and delivering decorations to the residents of Westview Manor Nursing Home
• delivering meals to residents receiving Meals on Wheels
• annual sponsorship of an exhibit at Cameron Park Zoo
• "Adopt a Penguin" for Moody Gardens
• canned food drives to support the McGregor Ministerial Alliance
• local "Toys for Tots" drive
• raising money via the coin drive for Texas Military Families
• cleaning the parks for the McGregor Community-Wide Trash-Off
• Jump Rope for Heart
• Relay for Life Kindergarten Krew that raises money all year for the big event
• Fall Festival where we provide a safe, friendly environment for kids for October 31st
• sending care packages to the military overseas
• St. Jude's Math-a-Thon
Our campus is active in many community service projects and we strive to give back to our community and its residents. We want to instill in our children the importance of giving back to others and the intrinsic rewards it brings.
