Dear McGregor Elementary Parents,
Welcome to McGregor Elementary, a place where students in pre-k through fourth grade are prepared to become productive, contributing citizens in a global society. At McGregor Elementary, we are committed to our goals and, most importantly, to our students. We strive daily to instill in our students the necessary skills for them to reach their full learning potential.
We are an exemplary campus this year and have received "recognized" ratings the three previous years. We also were recipients of gold performance awards in math, reading, and attendance over the past three years. We have been the district UIL champions for the past three consecutive years. We attribute each of our successes to the commitment, hard work, dedication, and teamwork of our school staff.
We are continuously evolving to meet the students needs while maintaining a loving and nurturing environment for all. Our goal is to produce a well-rounded student focusing on academics, fostering self-confidence, independence, and leadership in an atmosphere of shared mutual respect between teacher and student. We also seek to instill a love of life-long learning and community involvement through service projects for each grade level.
We are working with our most important resource, our children. By working together collaboratively with parents, staff, and community members, we feel we can better assist our students in becoming successful learners. They will be our future leaders and we want to provide them with everything they need to be successful now and in the years ahead as they move into adulthood.
